Curious as to why the Obama administration is so ignorant of economics? The graph below shows the proportion of experience in the private sector of cabinet members appointed by their respective presidents.

    Ironic that the man who seeks to control the economy has no one on staff who has actually participated in it.

    It reminds me of when Paul Krugman was on Colbert. Krugman is a big proponent of the Stimulus and government job creation, so Colbert asked him how many jobs he had personally created, how many people Krugman had actually employed.

    Krugman’s answer: Zero.
