Moron might be a strong word, but I think you can agree that it is a sad day in American when one can claim victory in a VP debate for simply not looking foolish. Our are expectations that low?

I don't think Sarah Palin is a moron. I would like to add that I don't think Barack Obama or Joe Biden are morons either. Do you honestly believe Palin is a moron?

I'm trying to understand why the VP is so important to you.... If this were a comparison of Obama vs. McCain it might be more timely. The fact that the blogosphere is looking for anything to hang their hats on with an underqualified and frankly moronic candidate speaks volumes about how much trouble the GOP is really in.

You give an example of two individuals there... can you point me to data that employs a larger sample size?

Also, it seems to me that the candidates from -both- parties are making pretty wild promises about spending lots of other people's money (promises they couldn't -possibly- hope to keep).

The only stuides I've seen showing that are ones that counted the collection plate at church as a charity and did not count things like the ACLU orneedle-exchange programs. If you could find an actual study with well defined parameters, I'd be interested to see it.
