		<description>I rather agree with them.  The combination of the crossed arms and the defiant expression makes him look like hes almost scowling.  However, I do like the idea of him organically coming out of the rock and the addition of the pen in his hand.  
The Jefferson and Lincoln memorials definitely have a different vibe to them - one more of intense thought and confidence than the defiant almost confrontational feel I get here.   
It could be worse, the original artist of the Jefferson memorial died of stomach cancer while waiting for the government to approve his plans.
Theres nothing wrong with asking for a second draft on a national monument. Personally, Id rather them get it right the first time.  I have some experience with failed statues at UVA:
