Fair is Fair
In Japan one of the stars from the colossally slow and boring TV show Heroes went to Japan to get in the way of fisherman hunting dolphins. If you ask me some of those fisherman should had over to Hollywood and get in the way of the production of the next season of Heroes.
I guess on the bright side she is not a multiculturalist. Although, given that she is a big time actress she probably doesn’t realize the contradiction between respecting other cultures and getting in the way of culture hunting dolphins.

Just to play devil’s advocate here….
What you’re suggesting they do is against the law. What the activists did is not against the law from what I can tell as the fisherman (is that what they are called even though dolphins aren’t fish?) do not own the property.

Then the law should be changed to read if you are going to shove your value system down someone’s throat then they can shove their value system down your throat.

Umm, isn’t that the First Ammendment?

Well? Is it Jamie?

Yeah, that is the first amendment. But keep in mind that the first amendment does not allow you to break into a private business and interupt the business without being arrested. For instance, my first amendment rights completely allow me to protest in front of the senate while they are voting. They do not allow me on the floor. My first amendment rights allow me to carry a picket sign in front of the Ford automible company for workers rights. I am not allowed to enter the factory. Getting in the way of a production of a private company on the private company’s grounds would be a trespassing violation. Spoiling someone’s fishing trip in public waters is not against the law - just annoying to you.

Right thats why we need to get the law changed. Its should be written specifically enough to not damage our rights. It could read punk Hollywood actresses who believes that their cause is just enough to force their value system on other people should enjoy no protections from the state when those people interfere with the actresses attempt to make an episode of her lame ass show.
Thats pretty good. I should go into policy work.

But Steve, stopping production doesn’t hurt the actress, she’s already been paid… it just hurts the CEO of the company that’s losing money while production is delayed.
You wouldn’t let them hurt the poor CEOs, would you?

Obviously, Steve is anti-corporation.

Sometimes capitalism must take a back seat to teaching a lesson.
