Citizens Infrastructuring
This opinion piece is about citizens taking the responsibility of developing infrastructure. Two things to note:
1. Some of my readers are probably crapping their pants. On what justification do they forcibly steal money from what group of people to give to another group of people if that other group no longer needs infratstructure.
2. As you read through the mistakes and errors the local city government made in providing infrastructure, bear in mind thats the same organizational structure some people want to manage health care for everyone.

Doesn’t the Australianness of your source material weaken your arguments regarding American policy?
(If you check the back of the book, the answer is “yes”.)

Well they’re not exactly teaching literacy skills to the unemployed, but sure, it’s always more efficient for citizens to do things than for the government to do them. I’m interested in the government building the infrastructure that citizens can’t or won’t build.
BTW, who the hell wants local city governments managing health care?

You trust you child’s education with local government. Besides if you’re going the route of government sponsored health care you would want it more local. You would have more control over local politicians than federal ones.
But if you look at what I wrote, you will see I was careful with my characterization to avoid that criticism. I wrote: ‘organizational structure’
That is having elected officials take your money and determine how it should be spent on your health care.
