I Guess People Can’t Change After All

Wednesday, October 31st, 2007

Scores of sex offenders in Anderson, South Carolina, will be corralled for Halloween tonight in a move authorities say is needed to keep kids safe as they trick or treat.

Thank for clearing that up South Carolina. Sounds constitutional to forcibly hold people for crimes they could potentiality commit.

This also serves as nice reminder that the state has a monopoly on force.

My left leaning readers should get in line at the tobacco store to play their part in providing infrastructure for poor kids.

Smoke it up.

Tag Is Psychologicaly Harmful

I fully agree with Colorado school officials.

“It causes a lot of conflict on the playground,” said Cindy Fesgen, assistant principal of the Discovery Canyon Campus school.

Tag should not be allowed at school because it might cause psychological harm for children. This is a departure from my previous position, but Darwin and the 9th circuit of appeals convinced me that the constitution grants every single person a right to never feel bad about anything ever.

In the spirit of preventing psychological harm, I just want to fully apologize for posting this after Diatribe already did. Diatribe you are still a unique and special little snowflake. Even if you are a wanker.

For the Children

Bipartisan support for trampling the first amendment to protect the children. It like trampling the second amendment to insure children are not killed by gun violence. Just like it, except it does not enjoy bipartisan support.

Seriously though, why should this kind of thing be regulated at the federal level. Why not lets theses issues resolves themselves with more local government. Ever since its inception this country has been trending towards a large massive federal government. I can’t see any good reason for why this should be. Keep laws and regulations as local as possible to insure maximum efficiency.
